An important objective of my practice is to establish a connection with—and between—other people. To that end, I work across multiple media, focusing on immersive and interactive projects that require viewer participation as an essential component. I’m fascinated by the brain’s role in interpretation, and often experiment with manipulation of light through photography, video, projection, and virtual and augmented reality software. Drawing inspiration from the field of social neuroscience, I integrate empirical research with personal experience to create conceptual works that expose the subconscious process of our senses.
